Chaya Ocampo Go is a transnational Filipina scholar working in the field of critical disaster studies and social-ecological justice. She served as a former humanitarian worker at the wake of super typhoon Haiyan. Her doctoral dissertation examines the politics of community-based disaster management as practiced by grassroots women leaders in the Philippines.
