Mark Zaragoza was born in Toronto and raised in Scarborough. Basketball was no stranger growing up and it quickly became his calling. Coaching his brothers in various Filipino leagues has sprouted into his current role as an Assistant Coach on Humber’s Men’s Varsity Basketball team. He is also the Intramural Sports Coordinator at Humber’s North Campus. Mark grew up in the Filipino basketball community and loves to give back to it. As the Toronto Regional Director for Fil-Can Nation Select, his goal is to provide Filipino-Canadian athletes with education, training, and exposure they need to play at the next level.
